About

Laura Lineback is a feminist artist who creates emotionally intense images using bold, immediate strokes. Her paintings give voice to an utterly human perspective: that we may only know pieces of the people and objects that surround us. Lineback presents some elements in sharp focus while leaving an expressive trail of hints for the viewer’s imagination to complete. Thus, her work both reveals and conceals, but always with raw honesty.
